Business insurance can offer protection for a variety of circumstances.  

As a non-advised broker, we can’t tell you if you need business insurance. What we can do is talk through your concerns and the needs of your business. We can then give you information so that you can make an informed decision on what's right for you. 

We like to keep things simple, which includes offering our customers a convenient way of paying for their policies, such as a monthly Direct Debit. 

Public liability insurance protects you if a customer or a member of the public claims they have been injured or their property damaged because of your business activities. It can cover the costs of the claim

The cost of public liability insurance depends on the level of cover that you need. This can be based on things like the services your business provides to third parties and customers. The number and severity of potential accidents that could happen would also be considered based on your occupation.  

This depends on how much protection you feel you need against incidents. For a business where third parties or customers are around all the time, a higher limit of cover could be considered. For businesses that rarely interact with third parties or members of the public, a lower limit of cover could be a better fit. Get in touch with us to discuss your options. 

It covers claims against you by a customer or a member of the public for personal injury/property damage due to your business activities.

Product liability insurance covers your business in a situation where personal injury or property damage is caused by products sold or supplied through your business. If your business manufactures or sells products for/to the public or other businesses, product liability cover can cover you if your products cause harm or injury to a customer or third party, or damages their belongings.

It’s not, but it can protect your business against the cost of a claim for products that may cause injury or damage someone’s possessions. Your business could be liable to pay compensation in some circumstances even if you were not the original manufacturer of the product.

If you own your premises, buildings insurance could be a consideration for you. If you rent your business premises you may still be required to have your own buildings insurance policy in place. It’s worth checking the terms of your lease to find out if that’s the case. This can often be bundled with contents insurance, so if you need it, we can help find policies suited to you and your business.

An office insurance policy can cover you for things such as equipment within the office, employee injury, as well as maintenance and rebuilding of the property after events such as break-ins, theft, fire or flood. 

This insurance covers any permanent additions or lasting changes that are made to a building by a tenant, usually at their own expense. Things like alterations to wall layouts, installing air conditioning, or other physical changes. Tenants’ improvement insurance can cover changes to the building as they may not be covered by the owner or landlord of the property. 

With goods in transit cover in place, your business could be covered if your goods are lost or damaged while in transit. This may also apply even if they’re in transit with a third party such as Royal Mail or DPD. This type of cover may be useful for shops/retailers, as their goods may regularly be in transit. 

Business interruption insurance covers the loss of income, loss of gross profit or increased costs of working because of an insurable claim such as fire, flood, or a storm (amongst others).
