'Tis the season of giving

'Tis the season of giving, and at our Charity Christmas Market, we did just that—spreading joy and giving back in the most heartwarming way possible.

Colleagues came together to set up their stalls offering a variety of handmade gifts, cakes, and tasty snacks. The goal was to raise funds for both our chosen charity of the year and individual causes.

We're thrilled to share that with the company’s matched funding donation we’ve raised around £980 from the event, giving us an estimate grand total of £1,307 going towards our chosen charity, Access Sport.

Beyond our collective efforts, our colleagues had the chance to support charities close to their hearts. Dedicated colleagues raised around £100 for Alzheimer’s Society UK and the Stroke Association, proving that every contribution, big or small, can make a meaningful impact.

Spreading cheer through dedicated donation stalls

We also set up dedicated donation stalls to make giving back a breeze! Our Trussell Trust Food Donation Point collected non-perishable food items, while the Lifeshare Clothes stand provided a chance to donate warm winter clothing for the homeless. For those spreading joy to little ones, the Family Action stall happily accepted new toys to share with families in need this Christmas.

Supporting local

In the spirit of the local community, our Christmas Market also offered a place for a local small business, Louise & Grace. Specialising in bags, purses, scarves and accessories.

Jolly moments and festive fun

Our event was more than just giving – it was about making memories that last. With Christmas music, festive games, crafting workshops and a tombola, the atmosphere was lively and full of cheer. The entertainment wasn't just for fun; it brought us all together, fostering connections and sharing the festive spirit among colleagues.
